Clifton Mastran grew up in Florida and attended the University of Florida. Before entering Pope St. John XXIII, he had an 18-year career in the Department of Defense, working seven years in Rhode Island and eleven in Washington, D.C. He is scheduled to be ordained a deacon in the spring of 2025.
