About this Episode
This month’s episode features a conversation with the second of two new Faculty members at Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary. In September, Rev. Jude Anyanwu, CMF, sat down with podcast host Msgr. Bill Fay when the formation year started. As a new arrival in the seminary house, Fr. Jude shares his first impressions of the unique mission of Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary – a mission supporting mature candidates for priesthood. Fr. Jude also shares with us his background, one that began in Nigeria and is rich with global experiences as a member of the Claretian Missions. Tune in to hear about his observations, his fun experiences in Boston, his connection to Cardinal Cushing, and what he enjoys about the diversity of Boston and all of America.
Fr. Jude tells us that the men at this seminary “have a clear idea of where they are going.” What leads him to believe this? And how will he, as a member of the faculty, help these men stay on a focused path? You will want to hear. Tune in and find out.
Fr. Jude Anyanwu, CMF, joined the faculty at Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary in late August 2026. He is teaching an elective this semester entitled The Babylonian Exile: Extra-Biblical and Archaeological Evidence. Visit our website at www.psjs.edu/faculty to learn more about where Fr. Jude Anyanwu has studied.
