He is a former member of a religious community and transitioned to candidacy and formation for the diocesan priesthood. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Deacon Michael Young will be ordained to the priesthood on July 16, 2022, for the Diocese of Venice. &lt;/p&gt;
